After more than two decades photographing weddings, I’ve learned that creating beautiful images is only part of the job.

Experience is knowing what to anticipate before it happens. It’s understanding when to offer direction and when to quietly step away. It’s knowing how to work alongside your planning team, navigate changing timelines, family dynamics, weather, and light — while allowing you to remain present in your celebration.

It’s being prepared when the unexpected happens without allowing it to become your problem.

My goal is for the photography experience to feel effortless to you, even when there is a great deal happening behind the scenes.

I photograph with both film and digital because each brings something different to the story.

Film has a softness, depth, and timeless quality that I love, while digital allows me to respond quickly to fleeting moments, changing light, and everything happening around you.

Rather than treating film as an add-on or a trend, I use both mediums intentionally throughout the wedding day — choosing the tool that best serves the light, the moment, and the photograph I want to create.
